(February 3, 2017) – Primary Wave Music Publishing, one of the leading U.S. independent music publishing companies, announced today their worldwide co-publishing and administration deal with Atlantic Records’ recording artist, KIIARA. The multi-million dollar, landmark signing comes on the heels of the company’s 2016 announcement of their partnership with the legendary singer-songwriter, producer, and former record executive, Smokey Robinson and kicks off what is sure to be a remarkable year for the singer as she gears up to release her debut full-length album.

Her debut EP, low kii savage, was released on March 26, 2016 and the lead single “Gold” has since been certified 2x platinum in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. The track has been streamed over 350 million times, soared to #1 on the US Top 100 Pop iTunes chart, reached #5 on US Mainstream Top 40, and went to #1 on Shazam’s US Top 100 chart. Kiiara toured the U.S. in support of the 6-song debut, making this her first ever headline tour which included sold out dates across the country.
