Rock legends Def Leppard are back with their first ever live album MIRROR BALL (Live & More), available now in North America (exclusively at Walmart and Sam’s Club) and will be released in all other countries throughout the month. The double disc album, which also contains a bonus DVD of live performances and behind the scenes footage, captures the group’s legendary concert experience, bringing together live versions of classic Leppard hits such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Rock of Ages,” “Foolin’,” “Hysteria,” “Photograph” and an incredible rendition of “Bringing on the Heartache.” In addition, the band has also added three new studio tracks “Undefeated,” “It’s All About Believin’” and “Kings of the World” — all of which are undeniably Leppard. A special limited edition vinyl package will also be made available.
Mirror Ball (Live & More) also marks the band’s first ever official digital release. “I’m extremely excited that we’re going up digitally,” said Def Leppard front man Joe Elliott. “It’s a brand new album and since our catalogue isn’t available yet digitally, this is a great start.”
Def Leppard kicks off their 2011 tour today with two dates in Ireland and then headlining UK’s Download Festival on June 10th before heading to the U.S. for a 48 date run that starts onJune 15th in West Palm Beach, Florida. Tickets for the Live Nation produced U.S. tour are on sale now at Ticketmaster and Livenation websites. Joining Def Leppard for this highly anticipated tour are Seattle rock legends Heart.
