Hawthorne Heights Return To Vans Warped Tour This Summer For First Time in Six Years

Tour Kicks Off June 15th


 

Chart-topping OH alt-rock veterans Hawthorne Heights will return to the Vans Warped Tour this summer for the first time in six years, where they will join Woe Is Me,  I See Stars, Go Radio, The Story So Far, Like Moths To Flames, Big Chocolate, Stick To Your Guns, Hands Like Houses, Anarbor, letlive, The Black Dahlia Murder and a slew of other amazing bands that have yet to be announced.

 

Fresh off a headline a tour of Australia, Hawthorne Heights is thrilled to be returning to the lineup for the annual trek saying, “We're extremely excited to be on Warped Tour again.  This will be our third time doing Warped – our first being in 2005 and second in 2007.  The tour is unparalleled in its ability to help artists gain massive exposure!  It offers great chances to check out new bands, reminisce with the old bands and just have a lot of fun!”

Together since 2001, Hawthorne Heights achieved major success with their first two LP’s (2004’s “The Silence in Black and White” and 2006’s “If Only You Were Lonely”) both reaching Gold certification. Their third LP (Fragile Future” 2008) peaked at number 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart and hit #3 on the Top 200 chart where is spent 5 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart. With strong radio support and MTV behind them, the band catapulted to national recognition allowing them to cultivate a diehard fan base that has stuck with them through various and well-documented ups and downs.

Hawthorne Heights is currently in the studio working on new music for their new LP due out in 2013.
