US Tour Kicks Off June 8
Primary Wave artist and multi-platinum 15-year-old pop superstar, Isac Elliot, will enter the American pop lexicon as he emerges from his huge success in Scandinavia, where he headlines sold-out arenas, to make his US television debut on NBC’s The Today Show on May 23, 2016. The two-time winner of MTV’s Finnish Artist of the Year caught the attention of the legendary host of Z100’s nationally syndicated Morning Show, Elvis Duran, who named Isac his “Artist Of The Month” for May 2016. Isac will be releasing his new single, “What About Me” on May 23, and will perform the track for the first time during his Today show appearance. With a top 10 song on Radio Disney, the most played song on Sirius/XM’s Venus channel, opening for One Direction in stadiums, two #1 singles in the same month on Billboard/Twitter’s Emerging Artists Chart for “Lipstick” featuring Tyga and “Baby I,” and acclaim from outlets such as PopCrush and J14, Isac is prepared to claim a pop throne of his own.
To further solidify this footprint into the US marketplace, Isac will be one of the first artists to appear on AT&T and AUDIENCE Network’s new monthly music TV show, “AUDIENCE Music: Spotlight.” The episode will premiere in June and will reach over 365 MILLION AT&T subscribers, in addition to DIRECTV’s 36 MILLION subscribers, via national broadcast on one of DIRECTV’s top networks. Fans will also be able to stream the series through DIRECTV and U-verse apps, which see more than 5 million unique views per week. “The inspiration for the spotlight series came from watching Isac Elliot perform at a showcase — and we are pleased that Isac is performing in our spotlight series,” said Bart Peters, VP of Development and Production, AT&T. “With the new series, we are leveling the playing field for highly talented emerging artists by helping them cut through the noise.”
Not only will fans be able to watch him on DIRECTV throughout June, they can also catch him LIVE during his tour of the US. Bringing his music directly to young fans is Isac’s passion and he will be doing just that when he heads out on the road on June 8. Sponsored by FYE, Isac will do acoustic performances, meet and greets and signings at each store and will be joined by R&B singer Jessica Jarrell on all dates. “When we heard Isac’s music and saw his performances, we knew we had to get him into our stores. It was, quite simply, a no brainer,” said Scott Hoffman, Chief Merchandising Officer for FYE. “We’re certain he is going to make quite an impression here in the States and we’re pleased to be one of the first to showcase him.”
The tour will take him up and down the east coast and Midwest, hitting cities in Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and more, before wrapping on June 18 in Michigan. All tour dates are listed below.
It may come as no surprise that Isac Elliot is going to be the summer pop star hit of 2016.
