THE COPYRIGHT INTERESTS OF THE CATALOG OF PROLIFIC SONGWRITERS SARA AND JANNA ALLEN
Sisters Co-Wrote Many of Daryl Hall & John Oates Biggest Hits Including “Kiss on My List,” “Maneater” and “Private Eyes”
NEW YORK, NY, MAY 22, 2007 — Primary Wave Music Publishing today announced that it has acquired the copyright and music publishing interests to the songs written by Sara and Janna Allen, which include the Hall & Oates chart-toppers “Kiss on My List,” “Maneater,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” “Method of Modern Love,” “Did It In A Minute” and “You Make My Dreams.” The sisters’ catalog is comprised of approximately 70 songs.
Primary Wave also owns a significant interest in the song catalog of Daryl Hall & John Oates, who produced eight #1 singles and scored 34 hit songs on the “Billboard Hot 100” list throughout their remarkable career.
