Primary Wave Music, Sun Records, and TC Restaurant Group Announce Partnership That Will See The Expansion of the Famed Sun Diner
Second Location Opening Today in Gatlinburg, TN
New York, NY (August 3, 2023) – Primary Wave Music, Sun Records, and TC Restaurant Group are excited to announce a new partnership that will see the expansion of Nashville’s Sun Diner. This exciting new partnership will see the second location open today in the heart of Gatlinburg, TN, with plans to open additional locations across the country. Located in the heart of Music City, the Sun Diner has been adored by Nashville residents for years, offering up southern hospitality every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The music themed and immersive eatery was inspired by the legendary label and all its iconic artists including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, and so many more.
The new location will offer up an identical menu of the Nashville including fan favorites such as the Chicken N’ Waffles and the “Let’s Do the Twist” Creme Brûlée French Toast. Patrons of the Gatlinburg location might see a few new, hearty items on the menu as well as a “Late Risers” menu that will include options like the “Greatest Hits burger melt and the “Cry Cry Cry” hot wings.
Of the partnership and expansion, TC Restaurant Group’s VP, Business Development, Brice Hall said, “We are beyond excited to begin expanding the footprint of Sun Diner, and there’s no better place for the second location than this landmark site on Gatlinburg’s downtown Parkway.” He goes on, “Finding such a phenomenal location was several years in the making, and it’s a perfect place to pay homage to Sun Records and the birth of Rock & Roll.”
