The Airborne Toxic Event – Release All At Once

April 27th, 2011

THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT

RELEASE NEW ALBUM ALL AT ONCE

Congratulations to The Airborne Toxic Event on the release of their sophomore album ALL AT ONCE on Island Records. All At Once is the band’s first studio album since their 2008 self-titled debut, which was named “Debut Album of the Year” by the Boston Herald. First single “Changing” is currently #9 at Alternative Radio. All At Once is already being hailed by critics as even more impressive then band’s successful debut, with SPIN Magazine calling the album “The rock’n'roll equivalent of a tear-soaked novella.” Drowned In Sound awarded the album 8 out of 10, calling the album “A resolute triumph in the face of adversity.” The Guardian proclaimed the songs to be “Instant, stadium-size anthems,” with KCRW noting similarly that the album is “passionate, dynamic, anthemic”¦their expansive sound is too large to be contained.” Q Magazine loved the album’s “U2-esque balladry, glam stomps, rabble rousing folk and soaring FM pop,” concluding that the album is “just about perfect.”

The band also has a number of television appearances to promote their highly anticipated album. Tonight, April 26, the band will be performing on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and will be performing on Thursday, April 28, hitting the outside stage on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. On April 20, the band will bring their presence to The Late Show with David Letterman, as well as being the musical guest on hit show Gossip Girl during the May 16th season finale.
