Primary Wave Entertainment has launched a new venture into m-commerce with the brand new app, “StarShop”. Along with Primary Wave, the backers of the app are Kevin Harrington, 'Shark Tank' judge and inventor; Tommy Hilfiger, iconic fashion designer and founder of global lifestyle branding company, Star Branding; Ryan Schinman, CEO of Platinum Rye, the world's largest celebrity brokerage agency; Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, music producer, songwriter and musician; and Pinsight Media+, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sprint.
The mobile app aims to be the future of shopping, targeting those who use smartphones everyday. The app is driven by an easy shopping interface along with celebrity-endorsed infomercials promoting the products. StarShop already has some notable celebrities working with the app such as Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Eli Manning.
